Leftover Rice Fritters (Chawal ke Pakode)




Ingredients : Leftover Rice – 1 1/2 cup
Yogurt - 1/2 Cup
Medium Onion finely chopped – 1/2
Ginger grated – 1/2 inch
Garlic cloves finely chopped – 2
Green chilies 2 (Finely Chopped)
Coriander leaves (Finely Chopped)
Red Chile powder 1/2 Tsp
Corn starch – 2 Tbsp
Salt – to taste
 Oil – for frying


Method : In a large bowl combine all the ingredients except oil, mash and mix well. Once the oil is hot, drop the fritters in oil about 7 to 8 depending on the size of your pan. Leave this  for about 2 – 3 minutes. You can  make fritters of your desired shape . Rice Fritters are now ready. Serve hot and enjoy.
